The International Miniature Horse & Pony Society was established in and soon became one of the foremost passporters of miniature horses in Europe.
 
In 2004 Tikki Adorian aquired the IMHPS and it continued to grow in terms of the volume of passports issued as well as the breadth, with registers being established for a wide range of horses and donkeys.
